Oversized Transport
On 1 July 2025, Distrilog acquired the family business Transport Michiels from Hulshout. They specialise in oversized and crane transport.
Crane Trucks
Need to lift a pallet of isolation material or roof tiles onto or over a roof? Transport or move a container or site hut? Pass building materials through a window on a floor? Our crane trucks can do it.
We have around 35 crane trucks with a range and lifting capacity of 22 to 100 tonne-metres.
Container Chassis
Our container chassis are suitable for 20ft, 40ft or 45ft containers (Standard, High Cube or Pallet Wide). They can be used with a crane truck (if necessary).
Hooklift Trucks
This type of transport is suitable for loading freshly harvested agricultural products as well as for transporting waste such as old paper and cardboard or so-called “PMD” waste.
Our container hooklift trucks (with trailers) are equipped to transport one or two 7m containers with a capacity of 10m³ to 40m³ (maximum load capacity 2x 11 tonnes).
Walking Floors
Walking floors, with or without a moving headboard, are ideal for the agricultural and recycling sectors, specifically for transporting bulk goods such as household waste. Our walking floors have a capacity of 90m³ (max. load capacity 28T).
Tippers
Tippers are ideal for transporting agricultural products, bulk building materials and waste, etc.
The tippers in our fleet have a capacity of 27m³ to 55m³, are equipped with a roll-up tarpaulin and have a load capacity of approx. 28 tonnes.
Low Loaders
Low loaders or open semi-trailers have a lowered loading floor, making them ideal for transporting goods with an oversized height. They can be combined with a crane truck.These semi-trailers have a loading floor at a height of approximately 90 cm, allowing goods with a height of up to 310 cm to be loaded (without special transport designation).
These semi-trailers are also available with ramps for transporting scissor lifts, aerial work platforms, excavators, etc.
Exceptional Transport
Centimetres are important in road transport. Transport Michiels has permanent permits for exceptional transport in Belgium up to a length of 28 metres and a width of 4.25 metres. Our permit covers heights up to 4.25 metres. We also have our own escort vehicles for this purpose. Our exceptional transport can also be provided with a crane truck.
