Safety first at Distrilog

At Distrilog, the safety of our employees is always our top priority.

To achieve this, we continuously invest in training. In collaboration with our partner AG accident insurance, we offer a Safety Performance Program to our warehouse managers: observations and safety dialogue, given by prevention expert Wim Fabeck.

Why this training?

Research shows that 80% of workplace accidents are caused by human actions and only 20% by technical causes. That is why we want to consciously focus on safe behavior and habits to prevent accidents. The training covers topics such as risk versus danger, risk assessment, and pitfalls in observation.

How do we approach this?

The risks in our warehouses are known and manageable when safety regulations are followed correctly. We therefore build observation moments into our daily warehouse operations, during which we specifically look for unsafe actions. Our employees are addressed and corrected on this. To support our managers in this, they learn the necessary tips and tricks to address colleagues in a constructive and respectful manner.
