Co-packing

Distrilog Group has various options for bringing your product to the market in optimal conditions. Our co-packing activities are managed in collaboration with Stroom Maatwerk, MaatWERKbedrijf BWB and Mirto, and other organisations. Distrilog Group collaborates with these organisations to provide work to over a hundred disabled individuals. A few of the options:

  • labelling & applying stickers;
  • packing and repackaging;
  • quality controls;
  • stock management;
  • assembling;
  • assembling and filling of displays.

Your production is standardised thanks to Value Added Logistics. You can adjust the basic references when the market requires it. Distrilog offers the added benefit of continuous traceability in our WMS and a minimal environmental impact by carrying out these activities internally – under the same roof where your stock is stored – and working with social partners. In other words, it is a simple logistical solution to an increasingly complicated strategy of a marketing approach.

ADR goods

The Distrilog Group can also take care of the transport, storage, and distribution of hazardous goods. Distrilog Group has the buildings, the permits, and, above all, the experience to store and transport ADR goods. This service is especially for companies that trade in hazardous (chemical) substances and do not have this specific storage capacity themselves.

Our services go beyond warehousing storage. If desired, Distrilog Group can also take care of all aspects of the logistical process for ADR products: from collecting from the supplier through storage and order picking to the distribution of your goods.

Distribution

Distrilog Group has its own versatile drivers and a varied fleet so that we provide transport at all times that are best suited for your goods and/or delivery environment. In fact, it is very likely you will need a different type of transport during certain periods. With Distrilog Group, you are not tied to a particular type of transport. Our drivers have no trouble switching from container traction to Full Truck Load or distribution.

This combination of flexibility in our organisational structure and a varied fleet of vehicles allows us at any time to offer you the transport best suited to your goods flow.

Forwarding

Many organisations employ a forwarder as part of their logistics, to organise, plan, manage and transport their goods across the borders. A forwarder can be considered the architect of the consignment, the intermediary between the shipper – the one sending the goods – and the actual transporter, Distrilog Group in this case.

At Distrilog Group we have a specialised team that takes charge of the entire process related to the international transportation of goods. As an internal forwarder it serves third parties and takes care of handing all kinds of administrative formalities such as:

  • requesting the required permits, price requests and comparisons;
  • negotiating prices and booking loads with shipping companies;
  • organising road transport and consolidation of small batches of goods;
  • completing any customs formalities;
  • the coordination between all relevant parties.

Our transport experts have a real-time communication tool, invaluable local expertise and take care of all the paperwork on your behalf. Thanks to our AEO certificate for customs simplification and safety, we boast a number of advantages in international trade. This means we satisfy a number of safety criteria, causing less delays at the border in the case of foreign trade.

Inland terminals

For its multimodal transport, Distrilog Group also makes optimal use of the inland terminals TCT Willebroek, TTB Brussels and the Kluizendok in Ghent. In 2020, a grand total of 85% of the 21,643 Distrilog containers were delivered in this way. By using multimodal transport, we can avoid major road works and the associated congestion.
